The Urban Film Review (UFR) is a showcase of independent films every 1st Thursday of the month at various locations like th Atlanta Cyclorama & Civil War Museum and the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center. For more information click here.

Every February, UFR presents The Annual Black History Film Festival, which showcases films of black history and culture crafted through the lens of Urban Filmmakers. The festival is family-friendly and targeted toward all ages, races, and ethnicity.   Youth sponsorships are solicited so that children from around the Atlanta metropolitan can attend the event by bus. The purpose of the event is to educate, empower, and inspire all audiences about black history from both past and current struggles to triumphs.
